To borrow a phrase from our sister podcast, Earth Station Who, we're going to get timey-wimey here -- due to technical difficulties, Episode 33 is delayed. But we didn't want to wait any longer to get you Episode 34, so here it is!  Agent Carter, Edwin Jarvis and the SSR gang are back, with villains old and new. John and Jen speculate on Hela in Ragnorok, casting news for Doctor Strange, and the return of Ray Wise's Roxxon Oil character, who is clearly up to no good. A fall breeze is in the air, the school year has begun, DragonCon is a fading memory...and Jen finally has time to edit again. We'll call this a "vintage" episode, since the news section is no longer exactly bleeding edge, but our main topic is timeless: cosplay!  In recent years costuming has exploded as a major component of fandom, especially at conventions. John and Jen are joined this week by experienced cosplayers Alyssa Jackson of "Adventures in Poor Taste" and Katie Dee.

With the release of Ant-Man, Marvel wraps up Phase 2. How does the diminutive hero compare to the Avengers? Where does it fit into the larger MCU? And how is the final product different from what Edgar Wright might have done?  All this and Dubsmash battles, Doctor Strange casting, and Legos!

What's this? Two podcasts in one day? Has Jen found the Time Gem?  No, she's just had her hands full and hasn't had a chance to edit. In this episode, John and Jen recap the highs and lows of Marvel's Phase Two, including Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy,and Age of Ultron. You'll have to wait for the next episode to hear our thoughts on Ant-Man. We also discuss what we're looking forward to in Phase Three, including the introduction of new characters, sequels, and three huge team-up movies.
